Negative Emotions and the Effects it Has on the Body
Although people are different in many ways and their emotions seem to differ the effect of negative emotions has a negative effect on someone no matter who you are or what you do. Negative emotions can effect a person not only on the visual part but also on the heart and really important organs within the body. They can also effect the minds of people and the way they think of the world along with their life and weather they want to live or not. The four most negative and most common emotions are anger, boredom, sadness, and depression the worst of these emotions is depression.
Lets get started with anger, anger is one of the most common negative emotions that everyone experiences at least one time in their life. Tension is the main cause of anger or under pressure. Fear and the guilt of being scared can also cause a lot of anger within the body (www.aromaticamedica.tripod.com). Not getting your way or being ordered around can also cause anger with certain people (www.aromaticamedica.tripod.com). Tension effects the body by people to get a higher blood pressure, skin raises also known as pimples are also caused by tension. Guilt and fear can cause anger because you could become angry because of you would like to do something but there is no will power because you are to scared. This can cause disease that could also be related to stress, because of you being scared rejection could also happen which would cause you to be depressed (www.aromaticamedica.tripod.com). Being ordered around can cause low self esteem which would possibly make you more mad then you already are; low self esteem can also cause you not to focus or can cause you to make the wrong decisions. That’s how some anger issues effect the body (aromaticamedica.tripod.com).
Sadness is also a negative emotion that is mainly based on unhappiness. Loosing a loved one in your family or loosing someone who is very important to you along with their love. When we don’t get what we want or get the reaction we were hoping for (aromaticamedica.tripod.com). Loneliness is also a cause of sadness but it can be rid of just not that easily, appearance can also cause people to become sad because they think they are not what every girls or guy should look like. The main effect of being sad is shedding tears or being able to hold them in. Children on the other hand have no problem expressing their tears, as of older people are able to control their tears and the range of their sadness. If one doesn’t cry it can effect them later in their life in many health ways because it causes people to keep unwanted chemicals in their body. Crying is a good thing to do because it releases chemical waste within the body. If you do not the way you like this can effect you because you could start to starve yourself that is known as being anorexic (aromaticamedica.tripod.com). If one thinks their to skinny they could eat and eat which could cause heart problems and or diabetes. Being sad and holding it in can cause people to have a large mass of anger which is not good. Expressing your anger will prevent that anger and it will be easier to get over the fact that you re sad (aromaticamedica.tripod.com). Sadness is not easily prevented nor is it that much easier to get rid of or avoid. Having a large some of sadness not only will cause anger but it will also cause depression then that could cause negative or wrong decisions along with disease (aromaticamedica.tripod.com). That is how sadness effects the body both physically, visually. Also how it has an effect on other people along with how it can trigger other negative emotions if sadness is not taken care of.
Boredom is one of the most common negative emotions that are found within the body, not everyone can suffer from boredom usually it is teenagers or younger kids tat suffer from this emotion. Not only because they have nothing to do and become restless but some might not have jobs or might not have friends to hang out with or hobbies to do (myblogonbeauty.blogspot.com). As of adults; adults usually have jobs a steady home and hobbies that they do during there time away from work. Not having anything to do plays a big part in causing boredom, along with not having a job or a hobby can also cause boredom (myblogonbeauty.blogspot.com). Housewife’s that are educated but all they do is stay home and watch the kids could possibly get bored because they are doing the same thing and same routine every single day. Like said earlier teens and younger children are easily to suffer from boredom because they do not have any hobbies and can become tiresome (myblogonbeauty.blogspot.com). The effects of boredom aren’t the best it can cause the body to become ill with disease. Skin problems such as breaking out or skin cancer can be caused by boredom. Internal heart problems such as heart failure, heart attacks, strokes, or blood clots can be caused by being bored. Boredom can be very dangerous especially to younger children because there immune system is weaker then the adults. Avoiding boredom and finding hobbies is not always the easiest way to go, hobbies don’t just come in a bag you have to find something that you are interested in to make it become a hobby (myblogonbeauty.blogspot.com). Basically boredom is very common and can be very dangerous if it is not taken care of.
Depression is the worst out of all of the negative emotions, not only does it effect the inner and visual part of the body but is also can effect the mind. Everyone is known to suffer form depression maybe not the worst kind of depression but everyone at least goes through it (www.worldtrans.org). Depression can be caused by many ways loss of a loved one or loosing a job. The biggest cause of depression is either financial problems, divorce, and or moving to a new place (www.worldtrans.org). Two of the types of depression are just your regular common depression and major depression which is caused by sadness, loneliness, hopelessness, and anger. Depression can be very harsh not only on yourself and the body but also on the people around you such as your family and friends (.www.worldtrans.org) This emotion can be disruptive towards going to school or going to work. Severe and chronic illness can be caused from depression, such as heart problems, cancer, heart failure, or your occasional mid life crisis (www.worldtrans.org). People who suffer from depression feel that they are not worth anything and cannot pull them selves together (.aromaticamedica.tripod.com). Therapy is the most common cure for depression along with anti-depression medicine. If you feel that you are depressed then you should go to therapy or see a doctor for help.
All negative emotions will always effect the body both physically and visually sometimes it could effect the mind. Sadness, anger, depression, and boredom are the most common negative emotions. My thought is that everyone should try to stay positive to avoid negative emotions. Emotions will always effect the way people think, live, look, and the choices they make.

  1. I really liked how detailed you were with your essay. I never realized how much the emotions I feel effect me. By the way, you will like the next unit we will do, becuase you already believe the message to be true!! As far as you writing goes, you need to learn how to combine sentences to help with the flow of the essay. Also, you you citing the websites WRONG!! (www.___.com). is wrong you need to use the website title or article title in the sentence or in the (). Your comments based on the rubric are:
Identifies a cause and effect situation and adequately addresses audience
Is consistently organized, although perhaps simplistically
Links causes with effects through relevant support and details
Sentence structures and word choices are appropriate; errors in spelling, grammar, or punctuation may occur, but they do not interfere with reader understanding
    Format is perfect
    Total points: 80/100

  2. I have to agree with Mrs. Boreson. I believe that the transitions were not as strong as they could be. I also saw a couple of grammer and spelling errors, but I could understand it. One thing that stood out was the detail that you put into your essay. I never knew that not crying could really affect you. Overall fairly well.

  3. I enjoyed reading your essay, because i never realized how much our little and big emotions effect all kinds of parts in our body. I think you should focus on the flow in your writing next time just so its easier to read. I liked reading about the depression one, because like you said, everyone suffers from it sometime in their lifetime. Overall, I'd say this is a good piece of writing and was very interesting.
